WGHP FOX 8 promoted all weekend long that they were going to replay The Cookout Clash, from back on Wednesday night at Bowman Gray Stadium…
I was tuned in at Midnight, and instead of The Cookout Clash, we got the FOX TV program, “The Floor” with host Rob Lowe…There was Lowe, but no Cookout Clash show…
We wuz ‘Floored”/robbed again…FOX made the switch late in the race back on Wednesday night, toward the ending of the race, with around 35 laps to go, and they moved it over to the FOX Sports Network…Many of us don’t get those FOX Sports Networks, and I for one, ended up listening to the end of the race in my car and in my home, on The Radio…
So no local finish to the local Cookout Clash Race on local TV, and then FOX 8 comes back and says they were going to replay the race on Saturday night, at Midnight, and there still was NO race…We got, “The Floor”…Last time it was The Masked Singer and The Fear Factor Show, and this time it was, “The Floor”…
I guess FOX was trying to rub salt into our wounds…
This old dog did stay up, and looked in at FOX 8 at Midnight, for The Cookout Clash…
At 12:30am, I went on to bed…Who knows what FOX 8 did next??? Maybe they brought back another installment of the Graham Bensinger Show…Like I said, I went on to bed…
But I should have slept in, “The Floor”….
FOX 8 advertised The Cookout Clash for Midnight on Saturday, but NO Clash again…Takes a lot of cash, if you want to get the Cookout Clash…I feel like we got, The FOX 8 Mash…
They just keep on pouring salt into our wounds…I guess it is time to drop the topic and let it all go…Obviously nobody is listening in FOX 8 land these days and nights…
