This past season(25-26), the NG Nighthawks Boys Basketball Team finished (17-10) overall, while going (8-2) in the TAAC Six 5A/6A Conference and the Nighthawks won the regular season title, and the Conference Tournament Title, where NG defeated Northeast Guilford, 92-79…
Northern Guilford lost in the Second Round of the NCHSAA 6-A State Tournament, falling to the Western Guilford Hornets, 54-50….
In 2024-2025, the NG Nighthawks went (17-10) overall, and (12-2) in the Metro 4-A Conference…For 2023-2024, the Nighthawks posted an overall record again, of (17-10), and their conference mark was (10-4)…
Overall in his Three-Year Coaching stay at Northern Guilford HS, Coach Friedman’s men went, (51-30), and they were (30-8) in Conference Play…Coach Frideman was named Conference Coach of the Year, in 2023-2024, and again in 2025-2026…
Coach Friedman was the boys head coach for those three(3) years at NG, and before that he was also head boys basketball coach at Kernodle Middle School, and he was an assistant boys basketball coach at several area schools…..
