It is Father’s Day Weekend and you know where to find DJ Reader: He’s at his “A Son Never Forgets” Football Camp @ Grimsley HS, with a lot going on(See Video Below)

He is a multi-layered young man…A professional football player that is giving back to his community on this Saturday morning/Father’s Day Weekend, with his “A Son Never Forgets Football Camp” @ Grimsley High School..

DJ Reader/David Reader Jr. was home schooled until he went to the sixth grade, and then he enrolled at Kiser Middle School…At Grimsley HS, DJ played football, basketball, and baseball, and he not only played, he excelled…At Clemson University he played football and baseball for the Tigers…

He went on to the National Football Leauge, and has played for the Houston Texans, the Cincinnati Bengals, the Detroit Lions, and now this year/season he will be with the New York Football Giants…

Quite the trail, but he has never lost his roots…He is a Greensboro-man, through and through…

What he does honors his father, David Reader Sr., and Mr. Reader passed away, while DJ was in college down at Clemson…His dad taught him so much…How to be a man, how to understand what his role would be in life, and how inportant a solid education was to DJ Reader’s lifetime foundation…And to always remember where you came from, and to GIVE BACK…..

DJ’s mom, Felicia Ford Reader, became the flame that kept all the fires burning, after the passing of DJ’s dad, David Reader Sr…DJ’s mom, Mrs. Reader, knows the ins-and-outs of sports, as good as any man or woman I have ever met/come in contact with…She knows what ‘The Deal Is’, and she knew, and still knows how to share and communicate “That Deal and Zeal for Life”, with her son DJ Reader…

DJ Reader has been up for the NFL’s Man of the Year Award on more than one occasion, and he symbolizes what it means to, “GIVE BACK TO THOSE WHO HELPED GET YOU HERE TODAY”

After he hangs up his football cleats, and he leaves the NFL, DJ Reader would like to come back to Greensboro, N.C., and continue on his lifelong journey here, in his hometown…

He tells us he would love to work with and coach football, at the Kiser Middle School, and then maybe move on and coach football on the college level, at N.C. A&T State University, where his dad, his mom, and many family members, went to college…

A multi-layered young man, and a young man who never forgets where he came from, and a young man that is always, Giving Back

And on this Father’s Day Weekend, he/DJ Reader is still honoring the memory of his dad, David Reader Sr., by reminding us all, in a Very Poistive Way, that “A Son Never Forgets”…..
