Carolina Core FC earned a hard-fought point before falling 4-2 in a penalty shootout to Chattanooga FC on Sunday night at Truist Point Stadium. Arnaud Tattevin scored the second-half equalizer to bring the Foxes level, while Nick Holliday recorded six saves to keep the match tied through the final whistle.
The Foxes hope to build off their challenge against one of the top teams in the league. They return to Truist Point Stadium to take on Inter Miami CF II at 6:30 p.m. on July 22.
