J.T. POSTON, KEEGAN BRADLEY, PATRICK CANTLAY, MAVERICK MCNEALY JOIN WYNDHAM FIELD
GREENSBORO, N.C. – J.T. Poston, 2025 U.S. Ryder Cup Captain Keegan Bradley, Patrick Cantlay and Maverick McNealy will play next week’s Wyndham Championship, the tournament announced today. The 87th annual Wyndham Championship is set for Aug. 5-9, 2026, at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, N.C.
These players join two-time Major winner Justin Thomas, World No. 3 and defending champion Cam Young, five-time Major winner Brooks Koepka, reigning PGA Championship winner and 2024 Wyndham winner Aaron Rai, FedExCup No. 7 Si Woo Kim and FedExCup No. 18 Ryan Gerard, FedExCup No. 19 Alex Fitzpatrick, FedExCup No. 24 Alex Smalley as well as past champions Brandt Snedeker, Lucas Glover and Webb Simpson.
Poston captured his first PGA TOUR win at the 2019 Wyndham Championship and now owns four victories. He defeated Ryan Gerard in a playoff to win the Memorial Tournament presented by Workday and finished tied for fourth at the U.S. Open earlier this season. A native of Hickory, N.C., he is currently 28th in FedExCup points and 36th in the Official World Golf Rankings. The Western Carolina University alumnus will make his ninth Wyndham Championship appearance next week; he finished tied for 11th last year.
Bradley, an 8-time PGA TOUR winner, is 76th in FedExCup points and 44th in the Official World Golf Rankings with five top-25 finishes this season. He won the 2025 Travelers Championship but has yet to win this season. He represented the United States as a Ryder Cup player in 2012 and ’14 and as captain last year and the Presidents Cup in 2013 and ’24. A native of Woodstock, Vt., now living in Jupiter, Fla., he will make his fifth Wyndham Championship appearance next week.
Cantlay is an eight-time PGA TOUR winner who represented the United States in the Ryder Cup in 2020, ’23 and ’25 and the Presidents Cup in 2019, ’22 and ’24. The UCLA alumnus is 43rd in FedExCup points and 39th in the Official World Golf Rankings. He hasn’t won in 2026 but finished tied for seventh at the Valspar Championship, tied for eighth at the RBC Heritage and tied for 10th at the Truist Championship. Cantlay will make his third Wyndham Championship appearance and his first since 2014.
McNealy picked up his lone PGA TOUR win in 2024 at The RSM Classic. He is 49th in FedExCup points and 42nd in the Official World Golf Rankings, with two top-10 and nine top-25 finishes in 15 starts this season. His best finishes are 10th at the Farmers Insurance Open and tied for 10th at the Memorial Tournament presented by Workday. McNealy will make his third Wyndham Championship start next week.
