Stopped by this morning, and caught up with the Northwest Guilford Vikings head football coach, Chris Rusiewicz, and talked about all the challenges and changes that are facing the Vikings, headed into the new 2026 High School Football Season, in Guilford County…
And with Northwest Guilford being an 8-A School/program, they are facing a gauntlet of Forsyth County Schools, and that makes for some pretty tough competition…But, Coach Rusiewicz loves the challenge, and as he enters his fourth year/season as the Vikings head football coach, he is ready to face what is staring him in the face…
(Coach Rusiewicz said his men really fared well, in 7 on 7 action, vs. the Clayton Comets, at the Wingate Camp. They had 7 on 7 action, with helmets and shoulder pads…Good stuff there.)
Over the years we have talked to Charlie Groves, Greg King, Joe Woodruff, Jared Rolfes, Kevin Wallace, and there was one other coach, from our past with the Vikings, and he came there briefly from Eastern Guilford or Ragsdale, but pretty much there you have it…
