Thoughts and prayers going out to the young high school football player from Guilford County who was shot in the leg and suffered a fractured tibia bone, and the thoughts and prayers are going out to his family too, in this time of stress, worry, and concern…
The injured young man, Caleb Moore, was set to be the starting quarterback for the High Point Andrews Red Raiders this season, but that is not main concern now…Right now you want to see the young man, Caleb Moore, get better and be able to walk again soon…
Moore, the former QB for the WG Hornets, and also the former QB for the Western Guilford Middle School Tigers, has been seeing visits from both the WG camp, and from the HP Andrews camp, while he is in the hospital…
Doesn’t really matter which camp he is part of now, he is part of the Guilford County High School football fraternity, and we wish him the best in his recovery…
First saw a photo in the local News and Record paper, where the young man was wearing a red top, and looked to be a red High Andrews top, and then I read the Sunday N&R report from Susie C. Spear, and that’s when the name of the young man, Caleb Moore, first surfaced for us…
We ran and covered his stats/numbers, when he and Timothy Baker, were there in the WG Hornets’ backfield last season, and they both put up some real impressive numbers….
Again, Good Luck to Caleb Moore, as he continues to recover…..
