Don’t tell too many people, but the word is out, “The Rewind is a Rolling”, brothers and sisters…
Just one radio broadcast last night, and thanks to Michael Holder(AD) and to Megan Harbaugh(assistant AD) for hosting us, over at Lucy B. Ragsdale High School last night…It might be Lucy C. Ragsdale HS, but our old coach at Western Guilford HS, Doug Henderson used to always have us do that yell/chant, “Who You Gonna Beat, Lucy B.”…So much for that revelation, but do
CLICK HERE for last night’s radio broadcast replay, of Berry Academy at Ragsdale…We had some good moments during the call of the game, and Coach Coiro correctly predicted the Two Ragsdale onside kicks to begin the game…
Bryant Roche, from the News and Record, has the rundown on the Ragsdale win over Phillip O Berry Academy, and he mentions in his headline, the Onside Kicks that got this game rolling for Ragsdale…CLICK HERE for BR, @ the N&R, and you won’t be sorry Charlie…And do stay Tuna, ’cause Charlie the Tuna will be in here soona, or “The Saturday Morning Rewind” being read from Greensboro to Altoona….And lest we forget to mention one of the many alter egos of Mr. Bryant Roche, and that would be Marty Moon, from the Gil Thorp comic strips…Marty from the infamous, WDIG radio station…

Great to be back under the WDIG call letters! Two station ownership changes in less than a year was very taxing. #comics #gilthorp
We bring back the real good stuff like Gil Thorp comics, which ran in the News and Record for like, maybe 30-40 years…Woody Marshall photos of Ragsdale-Berry Academy are in there, somewhere…
Also on The Rewind, we have Marc Pruitt with his coverage on Eastern Guilford’s big win at Glenn…And the little boy said, “Go Back Jack, Do It Again, at Glenn”…..And Eastern did win, not 20-10, but 20-7, with Wildcats over the Bobcats…
CLICK HERE and you are right smack dab in the middle of Kernersville, where the game was being played…
