Our Winner from Week Eleven of the season was Zay Hall…Zay is from Grimsley High School, and although Zay does not officially play for the Whirlies’ football team, he has been at every Grimsley practice the past three years, and we see him at all the Grimsley preseason practices in August…He will go through a few of the team practice drills, and on Thursday night October 29, Zay led the Whirlies as they ran onto the field, to begin their football game versus the Smith Golden Eagles…Zay ran out there, and he led his beloved Whirlies onto the field of football battle…It was the last regular season game for the Grimsley seniors, and Zay came to play on that day, he was right beside his teammates, as the action began…Zay Hall, our REMAX Revolution Player of the Week for October 29, and we thank him for his dedication and his hard work at all Grimsley football activities…
REMAX Revolution Player of the Week from the Friday night November 6 game came from the Ragsdale win over Berry Academy…The honor goes to Amario Armstrong Jr. from the Ragsdale Tigers team…Armstrong Jr. scored on a two-yard Touchdown Run for Ragsdale, and he came right back and scored on 50-yard pass play, where he hooked up with RHS Tigers’ QB Sion Stevenson…Armstrong with the first Two Tiger TDs, and he is one heck of a playmaker for the boys from Jamestown…Armstrong Jr. also plays defense, and he made a big pick late in the contest, to help seal the 37-6 victory for the Ragsdale Tigers…Armstrong Jr. plays full time on defense, and also is on many offensive plays for the Tigers…He makes the most of his offensive touches, as typified by his Two TDs on Friday night vs. Berry…This kid is like ‘Lightning in a Bottle’…He can make it happen, and he did it to the tune of a REMAX Revolution Player of the Week, this time around…
