Before the Ragsdale Tigers got going with their practice today, we sat down with the Tigers’ head football coach Johnny Boykin, and we talked about the upcoming 2023 high school football season, and we also got to jump over to ‘Raleigh’s World’, and we talked about Ragsdale-grad Devan Boykin and the N.C. State Wolfpack, as they prepare for 2023, and the Pack’s packed schedule…
It was Tigers’ Talk that included names like Amir Mitchell, Braelin Lewis, Savoi Edwards, and another name that popped up on our charts, just as we were finishing was, Adae Motley…Motley was an All-Conference Linebacker for the Ragsdale Tigers last season, in the Metro 4-A Conference, and last season Motley was at LB and this season Adae has moved from LB, to Safety…Motley was among the leading tacklers in the Metro 4-A Conference last season, and that is the plan for this season too…Keep on getting it done…

Coach Johnny Boykin hit us with a pharase today, that really hits home, and it should be the motto of every team we have here in Guilford County…That pharase that pays goes, “You have to learn to work together, to do the things you can’t do by yourself”…..Fairly simple statement, that has a long-lasting impression….
