UNCG Men’s Soccer’s Tattevin Named SoCon Offensive Player of the Month

SoCon Announces Monthly Awards for October

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Freshman Arnaud Tattevin was named The Southern Conference (SoCon) Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Month for October, as announced by the league on Tuesday.

The native of Rennes, France concluded October having played in 357 minutes over five games. He scored five goals, including a game-tying goal against Mercer. He is fourth in the SoCon in total goals (7) and third in goals per game (0.44).

In a 6-2 victory over VMI on October 28, the freshman forward scored three goals for his first-collegiate hat trick. On October 31, Tattevin was named SoCon Offensive Player of the Week for his hat trick against the Keydets.

Last week, Tattevin was voted to the SoCon All-Conference second team and All-Freshman team. Following the Spartans’ final non-conference game of the season on October 10, Tattevin scored at least one goal in each of the final four games of the UNCG schedule.
