The Pirates hosted the Bobcats at the Mac Morris Gymnasium and pulled away for a 62-35 win. The Pirates were led by Hattie Sloyan’s 24 points, while Sutton Sherrill and Hailee Cook scored 10 apiece. Hattie also had 10 rebounds giving her a double/double for the evening. Freshman Lola Vanore had 7 assists to go with 6 points.
The Bobcats were led by Ge’Kayla Goins with 20 points.
Piedmont Classical is back in action on Friday when they play Bethany while the Pirates will head to Southwest Guilford on Tuesday for the first conference game of the season.
