14 From UNCG Softball Named Easton/NFCA All-America Student-Athletes
NFCA Announces Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete Honors

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) softball team was recognized by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) for its stellar performance in the classroom during the 2024-25 academic year by tying for 34th among all Division I softball teams and led The Southern Conference (SoCon) with a 3.60 GPA.

UNCG also saw 14 student-athletes named Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes which led the entire SoCon for the 2024-25 academic year.

For each student-athlete to be named an NFCA Scholar-Athlete, they must have achieved a 3.5 or better cumulative GPA for the 2024-25 academic year.

Within the SoCon, Western Carolina (3.581), Mercer (3.335) and Wofford (3.300) were the only other schools to receive the academic recognition for the 2024-25 year.

UNCG concluded the 2025 season with a 39-18 overall record and a 14-6 SoCon mark. For the 22nd time in program history, seventh-straight season and tenth time in Head Coach Janelle Brenemen’s 13 years at the helm, the Spartans won 30 or more games.
