Caldwell Academy is a member of the NCISAA 2A classification for all high school sporting events.
This is the WEEKLY SPORTS up date for the
period August 18—23, 2025.
Caldwell’s Senior, Hunter Riffey, came in first (1st) and
set a NEW SCHOOL RECORD at the WNC Cross Country Carnival, Hendersonville, NC in the 5000 Meters Boys Championship with a time of 15:40.18 ,
(his old school record of 15:56.2 was set 9/21/24.) He
also met the MileSplit USFirst team standard for GOLD
and the MileSplit US Second Team standard for SILVER.
J. Marshall placed 38th & D. Krumroy placed 90th in the
same 5000 meters race out of 136 elite runners.
In the GIRLS INVITIONAL, 5000 meters A. Scott 22nd
and A. Krumroy 79th out of 111 elite runners.
Caldwell’s Volleyball team traveled to Hickory, NC, to
take on 2A Hickory Christian Academy and defeated
them 3—2 in a hard fought battle. STATS:
