Question for you today….What is the first uniform/jersey number you remember wearing, back when you played organized football, and was there any significance of the number??? Why did you chose it, etc….My first number I remember wearing was #19, and wore that number when I played for the old Guilford Junior High School Tigers…Played defensive end, LB, and offensive tackle, and wore/chose the #19 because that is the number QB Johnny Unitas wore when he played for the Baltimore Colts…And to see a lineman or linebacker back in that day wearing #19, that got people shaking their heads and opposing players shaking in their boots…HA HA, but good memories of that old #19….
