This Saturday, November 8, 2025, the T. Wingate Andrews Lady Raider Basketball Team will host the 16th Annual Quick Preseason Jamboree — a preseason event featuring some of the top women’s high school basketball teams in the area.
The Quick Preseason Jamboree honors Myleka Quick, a former High Point Andrews Lady Raider Basketball player whose dedication to basketball, Andrews, and the High Point community has been immeasurable. Sixteen years ago, Myleka suffered a severe injury in a car accident that interrupted her collegiate basketball career. Proceeds from this event will be donated to support her ongoing rehabilitation efforts.
Games will be held at T.W. Andrews High School and Northern Guilford High School, beginning at 9:00 a.m. and concluding at 6:00 p.m.
