Hoppers tied the ‘Claws in hits, at 10 a-piece, but the 8-1 final score, was a decisive win for the BlueClaws…
Greensboro Grasshoppers hitting led by Jared Jones, who went 3-4(Three Singles), on the afternoon…Easton Carmichael and Edward Florentino both showed up well at the plate, with both of them going 2-5, for Saturday, plus Carmichael scored the only Hoppers run of the game, and Florentino drove him in, with his Double…Carmichael also doubled on the day for the Grasshoppers…Jhonny Severino came up with a Double, for his 1-4 day, while Brian Sanchez went 2-4 Saturday afternoon…Carlos Caro was back in the Hoppers’ lineup, and Caro did not come up with any hits, on his first day back, but he did draw 3 Walks…Caro, 0-1/3 BBs…For the day, the Hoppers were 1-9 with Runners in Scoring Position/RISP, and the Grasshoppes left a total of 11 men on base/LOB…
