2025 Season (Freshman) – Played in 41 games making 38 starts finding a home in left field as a true freshman…Slashed .328/.396/.555 finishing second on the team in batting average, fourth on the team in on-base percentage and second in slugging percentage…Totaled 45 hits including a team-high 13 doubles and six home runs which was tied for third on the team…Drove in 23 runs while scoring 21…Also drew seven walks and stole two bases…Posted a career-high five putouts on Apr. 28 against Presbyterian…Hit two doubles on May 6 against ETSU…Posted a career-high three hits on May 9 at Charleston Southern…Scored twice and drove in three runs on May 13 at Charlotte.

(www.BigSouthSports.com) – High Point catcher Seojun Oh (Anyang, South Korea) and Panthers’ hurler Ty Brachbill (Shelbyville, Ill.) have been voted the 2026 Big South Baseball Player of the Year and Pitcher of the Year, respectively, by the league’s head coaches, it was announced this afternoon. In addition, Oh was tabbed Newcomer of the Year, Presbyterian College infielder Bo Moody (Georgetown, S.C.) was selected Big South Freshman of the Year, and High Point head coach Joey Hammond was voted Coach of the Year. HPU’s Jake McCarter (West Chester, Pa.) was voted Scholar-Athlete of the Year by the Big South’s baseball communications contacts.
