Victor Wembanyama (32 pts, 8 reb, 6 ast, 3 blk, 2 stl) outplayed Karl-Anthony Towns (11 pts, 8 reb, 3 stl, 2 blk), becoming the second-youngest player to put up 30 / 5 / 5 in the Finals, behind Magic Johnson.
“The job is absolutely not done,” said Wembanyama. “The hardest is yet to come.”
San Antonio had 28 assists to 18 for New York, as well as a 21-7 advantage in points off turnovers. They committed just eight giveaways in a game that saw six lead changes and four ties.
