New Athletic Director at Page High School comes in from East Forsyth HS

Coming in this week, from Bryant Roch reports, at the News and Record…

New Page Athletic Director is Allen Plaster, who was at East Forsyth, and now he has taken the reins from Gordon Hagen, who resigned at Page, at the end of the previous school year.

Page has seen several different Athletic Directors in recent years…

A long time back, you had Marion Kirby, running the Page Pirates show as the AD…Then Rusty Lee took over, and he led things for many years…After Rusty left, it was a Three-Person AD team in Matt Harder, Debbie Jones, and Lindley Ivey, before Matt Harder became the permanent Page AD…Then Matt left, and Gordon Hagen became the main man, in charge of Athletics on the Page High School campus…

Now Page HS will look toward Allen Plaster to led the Page charges…He was the AD at East Forsyth for 13 years, and coached baseball and football there, before becoming the full-time Athletic Director…

Plaster has experience, and he comes from the Plaster Family that produced Frank Plaster, Sam Plaster, and Greg Plaster, from back in the day…Not sure exactly why Allen Plaster wanted to get out of Forsyth County, and he had been at East Forsyth High School, all the way back to when he was a Student-Athlete there…

Mr. Plaster now at Page High School, and it is the start of a new chapter in the history of Page Pirates Athletics…
