TONIGHT/Friday Night October 30, 2026
Ragsdale(4-5) at Southwest Guilford(2-7) 7pm…Demetri Morrison and Luke Lee at this game for us, on GreensboroSports Radio 2, and is our Game One for tonight, with this being The EmergeOrtho Game of the Week, on GreensboroSports Radio…Ragsdale looking to draw even with their overall game record for the season…SWG looking for win #3 during a tough season…Ragsdale with Sion Stevenson running a very good offense, as Amario Armstrong, Maurice Dines, and Matthew Dice all do a great job of contributing for the RHS Tigers…Very solid group right then and there…For SWG they look toward Manny Martin at QB again, with DJ Bracey working to hold down the workload at RB for SWG…Ausint McPhail does a lot of things for the SWG Cowboys and he does them well…Demetri Morrison and Luke Lee with you for the call, on
GreensboroSports Radio…
WS Reynolds(4-5) at Northwest Guilford(1-8) 7pm…This game at RL Billings Stadium, at Northwest Guilford High School, and Northwest was a winner last week, and if they lean super-heavy on Simeon Libby, NWG will win again this week…He needs to carry the ball at least 40 times, in what may be the last game of the season for the NWG Vikings…Got to go get this one, especially since going against a Forsyth County team…
Covenant Day(2-7) at High Point Christian Academy(7-2) 7pm…Hez Krider Show for HPCA, and this one will be a big night for the HPCA Cougars, with an (8-2) finish for the regular season, within the Cougars’ grasp…Krider and Amsterdam Knox running and Knox doing a little throwing too, from his HPCA QB role, and HPCA should roll in this contest…
Triad/College Prep and Leadership Academy(2-7) at North Stokes(0-9) 7pm…Coach Carl McQuitty’s Royals head out to Stokes County, to take on the winless North Stokes team…RBs Willie Baker Jr. and Braylen Bobbit are mighty tough for CPLA, and they will carry the ball and the load 90% of the time in this ballgame…Baker is the speedster, and Bobbit runs with power…Bobbit is also the Royals MLB on defense, and Bobbit is a freshman, going at 6’3/232 pounds…Young man/Big Man…CPLA needs this game in bad way to get themselves a crack at a home playoff game in the postseason…CPLA, 42-40 Winners last week, over the Bishop McGuinness Villains..
Southeast Guilford(2-7) at Northern Guilford(5-4) 7:30pm…SEG would be fine with RB Amire Barnes getting the football 40-plus times in this game…Falcons feed Barnes the ball and let him move it up the field, while the clock is moving…SEG plan would to be, “Keep the Northern Guilford offense off of the field…Have them watching on the sidelines…But, NG led by freshman QB Daniel Evans, is ready to strike quick when they have the pigskin…This is our other EmergeOrtho Game of the Week, on GreensboroSports Radio….Coach Damon Coiro with us for the broadcast, coming to you from the Johnny Roscoe Stadium, on Spencer Dixon Road…Evans threw for 369 yards, and three TDs last week, for the NG Nighthawks…Evans to Caden Cordisco for all three scores…Cordisco is on the go, for the Nighthawks….MJ Smith leads the NG line, along with Khan Achina on the defensive front…On the back line for NG, you have the kid that might be the top DB in the county, Lucas Hilliard…Hilliard is the grandson of Northern Guilford defensive backs coach, Chuck Mardis…Coach Mardis was a starting Defensive Back for the old Greensboro Redskins, when the ‘Skins won the North Carolina semipro football title, back in the mid-1970s…It’s in the blood…Along with Cordisco, senior William Preston is a very reliable receiver for Northern…RB Christian Leach can carry the ball with authority, for the offense…Again, don’t forget, this game will be broadcast on GreensboroSports Radio, with former Northern Guilford assistant coach, Damon Coiro on the call with us…
Southern Guilford(0-9) at Asheboro(8-1) 7:30pm…The name Britton has been getting it done for the Asheboro Blue Comets, and with one Britton at QB, and the other Britton, a spitton image of this brother, he is at running back…Asheboro has gone (3-1) vs. Guilford County teams, losing only to Northern Guilford, and that loss by A’boro, was by a wide margin…Southern Guilford will see this as their final game of a very tough 2026 season, with the Storm only posting three points over their first nine games of the season…Something has to give tonight, and it might be Asheboro giving SG one of those old fashioned whippings…SG must get the ball, take all the air out of the ball, and do not give back to Asheboro…
