The final score on this meeting was UNC JV’s 85, Greensboro’s Dudley Panthers 78….
This was a pretty interesting scrimmage game, with the Dudley Panthers meeting and almost beating the UNC Tar Heel JV’s last Thursday night at the Dean Dome, in Chapel Hill….Sam Hunt from Dudley with a huge night with 36 points going 11-21 from the field, including 7-12 on three-pointers, 7-7 at the foul line, five assists, four rebounds and three steals…The Carolina players said they had a hand in face of ‘Sam I Am’ Hunt and he was just unstoppable on that night….
Christian Pulliam, formerly of the Greensboro Day School and now a starting guard with the UNC JV’s, had 17 points and 6 assists for UNC….

How does the NCHSAA allow a high school team to scrimage a collegiate JV team?
It just doesn’t sound logical for that to be legal.
Also, if it is legal, why aren’t more high schools doing this?
Amazing thing about this is that the GDS kid is on the jv team while PJ is playing ‘varsity’ 😉 Props for Dudley scrimmaging a college program like UNC
GDS is playing the UNC JV Team in December. It is great that 2 local teams get to play in the Dean Dome.
Pulliam was a sensational guard for one of the many great Bengal teams.
PJ is a STUD who was very successful at both Dudley and Hargrave.
Props to the 336
Greensboro Day at Southwest Guilford on Dec. 22 or 23 and that is going to be a real good one too….Reggie Dillard versus his old teammate from last year at Dudley, Brandon Clyburn, now at SWG……
Sam Hunt is the finest guard this area has seen in quite awhile. The 36 that he put on North Carolina is just the begiining of what folks will see this year. Don’t be surprise if Roy or other ACC schools begin to start calling for his services. He already has many on the table and this early season jolt is just the begiining. He has the skill set to take it to the next level and he is only a junior folks.
