  1. Hollie Boggs- SA (23pts.) Shaylen Burnett-SA (15pts.) Darienne Sykes SA- (12pts.) all in the win over Smith girls.

  2. What is going on over Page? They won but they didnt have anyone in the top scores. Paris gonna have to step up for a chance at being player of the year? What do you think?YW4Y

  3. HEY BALLIN – LOOKS TO ME LIKE SOME GOOD “BALLIN” GOING ON OVER AT PAGE. THERE WERE TWO TOP SCORERS FROM THE LADY PIRATES HIGHLIGHTED IN DEBRESHA BARNES WITH 15 POINTS AND CHELSEA COLEMAN WITH 13 POINTS. I SINCERELY HOPE THAT THE SELECTION COMMITTEE FOR PLAYER OF THE YEAR LOOKS AT MORE THAN JUST POINTS SCORED. THERE ARE OTHER INTANGIBLES THAT MAKE A PLAYER OF THE YEAR. ALSO LOOKS TO ME LIKE PARIS IS DOING WHAT IT TAKES TO GET THE “W”. SOMEBODY IS GETTING THE BALL TO CHELSEA AND DEBRESHA. WHAT DO YOU THINK????

  4. “Credit to Wesleyan in that first half,” Greensboro Day head coach John Carty said, “We struggled defensively there for a little while and had problems containing Imani.”

Keep playing your game….it’s sad when an opponent can’t contain you but other’s jealousy does. I hate it too, because you were giving GDS the business at first!!

Good game to GDS…great team and great teamwork. Can’t compare the respect and integrity of both schools with their rivalry. It’s unparallel!!!

  5. I agree with that PAGE FAN, If the award is called “player of the year(POY)” then all aspects of the game should be considered, not just points. By the way, who are the people that make up this “selection committee” that you spoke of, is it the head coaches?

  6. We had the call of the PAGE-SEG girls game on the radio Friday night and I was very impressed with the job that Barnes and Coleman did…They controlled the paint/lane…Paris Kea knows how to set her teammates up and it is like watching someone set the table with the silverware in the corect places before you sit down for your evening meal….When you are down there along the blocks, be ready, because Paris can get you the ball in position to score….Again, nice work by Coleman and Barnes and Kea continues to impress…From what I see, Kea is a sophomore and Barnes and Coleman are just juniors and this bodes well for the Pirates for the next couple of years….Want to see Dudley game when they come over to PAGE…SHOULD BE A GOOD ONE…

  7. I am putting my cheese on the Rouse’s sisters! Page has a great squad and Paris is an outstanding player, but she must turn it on! I am just saying I havent seen a high performing game yet. I know she can, I just havent seen it yet! Look out Paris the Panthers are going to bring the show to you!
