from the February 5 edition of Scouting Carolina.com they have the word on the offers that are steadily coming for T.J. Logan, runningback, out of Northern Guilford HS, who rushed for right at 2,500 yards and over 30 TD’s this past season, with NG winning their second straight nchsaa 3-AA Title….

  1. Win is important

    This shows that being apart of a winning program is very important when it comes to potential college offers. Yes – scouts and coaches will find you no matter where you are but there is no doubt you will get even more attention if you come from a winning tradition at a program know to compare well against “real” competition. So many programs that have good teams offer duck the top competition and I believe that can all hurt the kids in the program. The better the competition, the more scouts/coaches have to work with when looking to make early offers.

  2. TJ could have played for Southern Alamance and he would have the same offers because he is a true talent. Talent trumps all. Being a part of a winning program helps those players who maybe under the radar guys with talent.
