  4. We’re always tweaking the equipment. The Video is from a Webcam located in front of Andy Durham as a he calls the game. We are always looking to improve and appreciate your comments and suggestions.

  5. Could hear Andy’s familiar voice in the background. I always enjoy his down home broadcasts. Sent out the video clips of Kyle against Bryce Harper to the “Kyle Winters Listening Network” and got some good responses. Love being able to do that. Appreciate you Don and Andy and everyone else with the Hoppers.

  6. Appreciate greensborosports.com too!! And stepgrandpa to be, Richard Barry, thanks for Brian McConkey hitting 500 on Sunday–hearing all the scoring when my son’s on the mound!!!

  7. That is NOT the Greensboro Feed. Minor League Baseball has many Triple-A and a few Double-A teams on that service. Our service is FREE because we aren’t dropping $50,000 in equipment for better quality. We do try to make sure the audio is right as we get the split-feed that feeds WPET-950 AM. From time to time, the computer settings get messed up and results in bad audio on the Internet Video Feed (you can always get a clean audio feed from WPET’s website).

We might upgrade the camera (which is in the Press Box with Andy), next year. But actual play by play video is going to be out of the question with our budget.

  8. We paid the 6.99 per month to watch the MilbTV version of the games at Hagerstown and were not impressed. It is exactly what you are doing there in Greensboro but we had to pay for it. Not sure what the 8.00 per month Mike is talking about but I don’t feel like I am getting anything too special for 6.99 per month from MilbTV. We listen to the WPET audio by Andy which was behind the video so not sure how to synchronize that but we enjoyed it anyway. I keep a scorebook during the games we listen to and it does get a bit confusing when I am watching and writing in the book and then I try to catch up with what Andy says in the play by play broadcast. Honeslty, Kyle has been playing professional baseball since 2005 and this is the first year we have really gotten to “see” him at all. So, thanks again Greensborosports.com we are happy to get what we can.

  9. Listened AND watched tonight from Colorado and the audio and video were right on. Loved it. Thanks for whatever it is that was done to pull those two things together. Loved seeing Kyle pitch and the Hoppers pulling out a win in the end.
