    GREENSBORO, N.C. – Interim Director of Athletics Dr. Sharon Beverly announced the hiring of Ryann Fowler as Guilford’s Assistant Director of Athletics for Sports Medicine and Head Athletic Trainer. Fowler returns to Guilford College after two years as an assistant athletic trainer at Winston-Salem State University. While at Winston-Salem State, Fowler worked with the football, men’s basketball, track and field, and golf programs. Her responsibilities included providing prevention, care, and comprehensive evaluation of athletic injuries, coordinating with team physicians to implement treatment plans and medical documentation, and designing aquatic rehabilitation programs, hydration programs, and nutrition guides for teams.     NORMAN, Okla. – Guilford College’s men’s golf team saw Josh Allen (Wilson, N.C./Greenfield), Zachary Evens (Mercer Island, Wash./Mercer Island), and Jack Lee (Overland Park, Kan./Blue Valley North) named Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). A total of 1,018 student-athletes earned the honor across all divisions with 189 in Division III alone.     GREENSBORO, N.C. – Bob Lowe was named assistant sports information director at Guilford College Tuesday. Lowe brings 20 years of athletics communications experience to the Quakers. Most recently, he was the director of sports information at Berry College in Rome, Georgia, from 2012 to 2016. He serviced 21 sports and helped the department transition from the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics to the National Collegiate Athletic Association’s Division III ranks.
