Last night Clemson v. UNC-G Basketball drew under 6,000 fans at the Greensboro Coliseum. It was the initial event for the UNC-G / Greensboro Coliseum partnership. 6,000 fans means 17,000 empty seats ( I don’t buy into that curtain that reduces the coliseum attendance to 10,300 from 23,000). Guilford College and Greensboro College met in hoops Wednesday night on the Quaker campus, with Guilford winning 77-56. We had our camera in tow and clicked a few photos for you to scope. A crowd of over 1,000 was in attendance for the inner city rivalry-a nice gate for any D-III school.
