    Tyler Flippen accounted for five touchdowns for Northern Guilford(2-2) on Friday night as the Nighthawks handed the Northwest Vikings(3-1) their first loss of the season by a score of 38-28 at R. L. Billings Stadium in Greensboro. Coming into the game, the Nighthawks had not scored a touchdown on a passing play.     Determination and a steady diet of La’Quan Nora runs was the recipe for victory for Grimsley on Friday night over Northwest Guilford. The Whirlies prevailed by the score of 28-21 at R.L. Billings Stadium. The Whirlies jumped on the scoreboard on their opening possession of the game. After starting on their 48-yard line, Grimsley’s first drive consisted of 13 plays and lasted just short of six minutes. Bourn Lesane punched the ball 5 yards in to put his team ahead early, 7-0.     Although the Northwest Vikings started the game with a bang, the Glenn Bobcats matched their effort and one-up’d the Vikings in a 47-45 barn-burner at R.L. Billings Stadium Friday night. The Bobcats’ Stephon Brown threw for five touchdowns and ran for two, as Glenn ultimately spoiled Northwest’s senior night. The Vikings opened the scoring after Brendan Banner recovered a Stephon Brown fumble on Glenn’s first possession of the game.
