RAGSDALE INDOOR TRACK SHINES IN WINSTON-SALEM from Ragsdale Athletic Director Brian Herndon: Ragsdale’s Indoor Track program had a productive outing Thursday night at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem. The Tiger’s Dakota Harbison was among the team’s leaders, as he qualified for the State Championships in the Pole Vault. Harbison reached a height of 11’6”. Kaitlin McGoogan and Chandler Ward also had big nights; McGoogan had her personal best in the Shot Put, while Ward had his personal best in the Pole Vault. Great job, Ragsdale Indoor Track!
Tiger Track Program Excelling (Courtesy of Brian Herndon, Ragsdale High School Athletic Director) This past Tuesday, at the JDL Fast track in Winston-Salem, Ragsdale’s Men’s and Women’s Indoor track teams won the Southwest Guilford Invitational #2. Other schools competing in the event included Northwest Guilford, Northern Guilford, Greensboro Page, Southwest Guilford, High Point Central, High Point Andrews, Eastern Guilford, Greensboro Grimsley, Greensboro Dudley, Greensboro Smith, Southern Guilford, and Southeast Guilford. Ragsdale’s Tevin Quick and Ti’Coiya Gidderon Qualify for State Meet (Quick has now qualified for Nationals as well) The Ragsdale Tiger Indoor Track Program had another outstanding showing in this past weekend’s meet held at Liberty University. Senior Tevin Quick, who also excels on the Football gridiron and the Basketball hardwood for the Tigers, qualified for the State Championships in the long jump and the high jump.
