Local Rockingham Community College Baseball Players Commit to DII Schools Houston Ison (HPC) and Kaleb Houchins (Morehead) have committed to continue their baseball careers with schools in the Carolinas Conference. Ison has signed a baseball scholarship to play for Erskine College in Due West, South Carolina. He is currently hitting .302 in 129 at bats with 24 stolen bases for the RCC Eagles. In his freshman year, Ison hit .288 and stole 24 bases. Houchins has committed to sign a baseball scholarship with Pfeiffer University. He is currently 5-4 on the year with a 2.14 ERA in 67.1 innings pitched.…
Rockingham Community College Baseball Takes 2 of 3 From College of The Albemarle The Rockingham Community College baseball team won its fifth straight conference series this past weekend at College of The Albemarle. After losing game one 3-6, RCC bounced back with 6-1 and 8-0 wins. The Eagles are now 19-8 overall and 12-2 in Region X DII conference play.
