The Dudley Panthers used their multi-threat running game and consistent defense to rout the Southwest Guilford Cowboys by the score of 49-6 on Friday in High Point. Dudley’s defense allowed just six points, forced three turnovers, and had multiple sacks on the evening. The Panthers started the game slowly offensively, but were the first to put points on the board when the Cowboys long-snapper snapped the ball through the end zone on a punt attempt, resulting in a safety. On their opening drive of the second quarter, however, the Panthers game turned up full blast. In three plays and in…
The Southwest Guilford Cowboys’ defensive regrouping at halftime and a team effort on the offensive side of the ball led the Cowboys to a 49-21 rout of the Northwest Guilford Vikings at R.L. Billings Stadium. The teams went into the game coming off of rivalry-week losses and had matching (2-2) records. In the opening quarter, neither team could get the ball into the end zone because it seemed every time they had a drive going, they turned the ball over. Northwest had two fumbles for turnovers and Southwest had one. The first points weren’t scored until with 5:31 to play…

We did the FCA at West Forsyth, competed against Asheboro at their place and most recently finished runner-up at the Averett ‘Battle…
You could say that Southwest Guilford surged over Northwest Guilford Wednesday night in a game that was moved up because of an impending hurricane. Southwest’s sophomore quarterback Devin Flowers accounted for three touchdowns, and the Cowboys’ defense stonewalled the Vikings in a 34-0 rout. The Cowboys began the game strong, scoring the first touchdown midway through the first quarter, a Flowers run from 5 yards out. The Cowboys’ overpowering defense shut down every Viking effort in the opening 12 minutes. The defensive highlight of the quarter was Jakobe Harris intercepting Northwest quarterback Johnny Pagano with 1:46 remaining in the first…
