High School Football Poll:week numero ocho(8)

I am going to start doing more of our work using hispanic numbers and see if we can broaden our audience. Let us know how you like it. Here’s this week’s esquela poll amigos:

#1)Grimsley-The Whirlies are 6-0 and will travel to High Point Central for their conference opener this week.
#2)Northeast Guilford-Rams are 5-1 and getting ready for the BIG ONE with Western Alamance at home this Friday.
#3)Dudley-The Panthers are 6-1 and are on the road at Morehead on Friday night.
#4)Ragsdale-The Tigers are 5-2 and will play host to Trinity this week.
#5)Southeast Guilford-SEG stands at 4-2 and will take to the road to play the Asheboro Blue Comets this week.
#6)Southern Guilford-SG is 4-2 after an off week and now the Storm is home to McMichael on Friday.
#7)Eastern Guilford-The 4-2 Wildcats won big over Southwest last Friday and now will take on the Atkins Camels at home in Gibsonville this week.
#8)Western Guilford-(4-3)WG Hornets off this week after the huge conference road win at Morehead last Friday.
#9)Page-(2-4) Pirates lost a tough one by a TD at Davie County last week but should have no trouble with Ben L. Smith this week at Marion Kirby Stadium.
#10)Northwest Guilford-The 2-4 Vikings were resting last Friday and now will open up their conference schedule this week at East Forsyth.
#11)High Point Central-(2-4) Black Bison of HPC were off last Friday and now will host Metro 4-A power Grimsley this week at Simeon Stadium.
#12)Southwest Guilford-Another 2-4 squad that has had it rough as of late and after last week’s 20 point loss at Eastern the Cowboys have to travel and take on Carver this Friday. Better call for backup.
#13)High Point Andrews-(1-4) The Raiders were crushed by Reidsville last week and get ready for another Smackdown at Glenn this Friday night.
#14)Northern Guilford JV’s-(4-1) After watching the Nighthawks play I had to move them up. Beat Southern Alamance 28-7 LW, at home tonight at Guilford College, opponent TBD.
#15)Smith-(0-6) The Golden Eagles will be chasing flying footballs Friday night at Page and after losing to North Forsyth last Friday, this might get worse if Pirate QB Will Newman decides to unload.

  1. Thomasville beat Davie County—Page or anyone around here wants any of Thomasville,43 in a row, all you pirates got was another L with many more to come this year.

  2. How do you figure we can play Thomasville? Get the AD’s to do the scheduling. Talking about it on here wont do you any good.

With many more to come this year? If we go 6-0 in our conference, then you’ll be the one eating crow.

  3. 6-0 in the Conference? i don’t know. Play the Whirlies first. But I will say the Pirates could take Thomasville. But it would be close.

  4. Jamos.. you have to read the context of what i said.. I said, “if”.. which means it could happen and it also could not happen. Also, I said when i said “then you’ll be the one eating crow”, which means.. he’ll be eating his words if Page does go 6-0 in our last 6 games. He said, we had many more losses to come this year.

  5. my apologies, didn’t see the “if” on the first quick read, and i do understand the eating crow line, lets just focus on this friday. GHS by 10
