This week’s winner will receive the $20.00 Gift Card from Golden Corral and also Two Tickets to the Charlotte Bobcats-Miami Heat NBA game at the Greensboro Coliseum on Saturday October 13, courtesy of the Greensboro Coliseum and GREENSBOROSports.com.
We will also choose a winner and give two tickets to the Bobcats-Heat game to one of our other entries that doesn’t take home the Grand Prize this week. We’ll have the Picks Contest winner and then draw from the remaining names to see who gets a pair of tickets to see the hoops. Be sure to list your correct E-mail address and give the total points on the Sunday night game. A chance to win Tickets and the Food and a chance to win tickets.
If you win the tickets as the secondary prize and haven’t won the food yet you will still be eligible for that the following week, this week’s ticket give away is just an added bonus.
Rob is Ready and here are his picks coming in from Greenville, South Carolina temporary home of the #1 Carolina Gamecocks:
Miami vs Houston (HOU) – Houston should bounce back this week proving that last week’s debacle was just an anomaly. Ronnie Brown has been one of the best performers of the young season, but he will need more support to win in Texas. Houston by seven.
Jacksonville vs Kansas City (JAX) – Jacksonville has not looked good to this point and Jack Del Rio has to be feeling the heat. While the Chief’s surprised everyone last week with their win in San Diego, they should return to normal this week at Arrowhead. Jags by 10.
Cleveland vs New England (NE) – Cleveland has looked great at times and looked bad at others. We’re thinking the bad Cleveland shows up this week, with some help from New England’s defense. Patriots by 20.
Carolina vs New Orleans (NO) – Its hard to imagine that the Saints could be so good a year ago, yet play so poorly this year. Carolina has looked equally bad in weeks two and four. Julius Peppers will continue his poor play and then go home and count his money. New Orleans has to win sometime. Saints by three.
NY Jets vs NY Giants (NYG) – Can the Giants string three victories together or will the Jets claim bragging rights to the “Big Apple†this year? Both teams are pretty horrid, but the Giants and their defensive line get the edge in this match-up. G-Men by a TD.
Seattle vs Pittsburgh (PIT) – How could the Steelers actually lose to the Cardinals? Then again, Seattle also lost to them earlier this year. Home team gets the nod in this one. Pittsburgh by three.
Arizona vs St. Louis (ARI) – If the Cardinals continue to change things up with Kurt Warner, they could become a very good team. Look for Arizona to get the win against a horrible Rams club. Arizona by a FG.
Atlanta vs Tennessee (TEN) – Tennessee looks to be better than advertised and the Falcons are coming off a game where Joey Harrington seems to have found his calling at QB. You know what they say about blind squirrels, right? Titans by 10..
Detroit vs Washington (DET) – The Lions poured on 34 pts. in the 4th quarter last week en route to huge win. Kitna and his talented receivers should be able to match anything Joe Gibbs’ outdated attack has to offer. Detroit by 10.
Tampa Bay vs Indianapolis (IND) – In a big early season matchup, the Colts should prevail. Indy’s injury list may hamper Manning’s ability to do everything the way he wants, but end the end, the Bucs are facing too much talent. Colts by 14.
San Diego vs Denver (DEN) – San Diego is the worst team in the league. Norv Turner should be shot, Rivers should be cut and L.T. should learn to keep his mouth shut. Broncos by one.(Amen on SD by editor)
Baltimore vs San Francisco (BLT) – The Ravens got kicked in the teeth last week by an up and down Browns squad. The 49er’s had their starting QB knocked out during their beat down last week. Look for Baltimore to save face this week. Ravens by 14.
Chicago vs Green Bay (CHI) – Green Bay is playing great football and Brett Farve is putting up fantastic numbers again. Regardless of Chicago implosion last weekend against the Lions, we feel they have the horses to pull off the upset this week on the “not yet frozen†tundra. Bears by a TD. Total points?

Is this “Price is Right” overbidding rules or just closest to the pin? I know the answer, but I had to ask.
