I would imagine if this had been big time college football, the officials would have reviewed it, ruled that the next to last guy’s knee was down at the 30 and the game would have been over. I’m sure if they had reviewed Cal-Standford back in the day, they would have found something wrong with that too. Sometimes it is cool just to go with the wacky call on the field.
