Big Jim’s picks are in, he has gone 31-7 over the last three weeks, and he says he’ll throw in a free workout at Fitness Today on Randleman Road if anyone can beat his record this week. We also have the CiCi’s Pizza buffet for two plus drinks for our first time winner.
Rob is running a little late with his picks because of a meeting this morning with league President Roger Goodall(Jane’s spouse) and if we can get a 1:40pm, $10.0 seat on SkyBus, out of Greenville, S.C. to Greensboro, N.C., we will have those “Right on by Robert” selections for you this afternoon or Saturday morning.
Here’s what Big Jim is saying down at the Fitness Today, today:
Buffalo at Miami(Buffalo)
St. Louis at New Orleans(New Orleans)
Denver at Kansas City(Kansas City)
Minnesota at Green Bay(Minnesota)
Cleveland at Pittsburgh(Pittsburgh)
Jacksonville at Tennessee(Tennessee)
Philadelphia at Washington(Philadelphia)
Atlanta at Carolina(Carolina)
Cincinnati at Baltimore(Baltimore)
Chicago at Oakland(Chicago)
Dallas at N.Y. Giants(N.Y. Ginats)
Detroit at Arizona(Detroit)
SundayNighter:Indianapolis at San Diego(San Diego)*****need the total points on the this one, Indy+SD=’s how many?*****
Rob is Ready with his selections and we thank Captain Shelton and his staff for the SkyBus A-mail delivery:
Atlanta vs Carolina (CAR) – Vinny is the man this week and despite Carolina’s problems, they’re still playing the Falcons. Panthers by 10.
Minnesota vs Green Bay (GB)– Green Bay’s experience and home field should give them the “W†this weekend. Packers by three.
Denver vs Kansas City (KC) – KC should prevail in this battle of horrible QBs. Priest Holmes will get his first start in a couple of years and we look for him to make the most of this opportunity. Chiefs by seven.
Buffalo vs Miami (BUF) – Bills aren’t that good, but they are better than the Dolphins. Buffalo by a FG.
St. Louis vs New Orleans (NO) – Drew Brees and Co. should easily be able to take care of business against a horrible St. Louis team. Saints by 14.
Cleveland vs Pittsburgh (PIT) – The Browns look pretty good this season, but the Steelers are still one of the best teams in the league. Pittsburgh by 10.
Jacksonville vs Tennessee (TEN) – The Titan’s should continue their quest for mediocrity by beating a Jaguars team that might be Jack Del Rio’s last. Titans by 10.
Philadelphia vs Washington (WAS) – Did anybody watch the Sunday night game last weekend? Washington by seven.
Cincinnati vs Baltimore (CIN) – Cincy has been a huge disappointment this year and so has reigning divisional champion, Baltimore. Look for the Bengals to get the win against a Raven’s defense that has been pathetic. Cincy by 17.
Detroit vs Arizona (DET) – Arizona seems to be returning to traditional form as the season wears on. The Lions, on the other hand, beat the snot out of Denver last weekend. Detroit by 10.
Dallas vs NY Giants (DAL) – Too much Romo, too much Owens, too much Witten. With these guys, who needs a runningback? Dallas by 14.
Chicago vs Oakland (CHI) – Not even the Bears can screw this up. Chicago by 10.
Indianapolis vs San Diego (IND) – In a battle of teams that ended last weekend on a huge low note, we look for leadership to be the answer. That’s a good thing for Indy, and a bad thing for the team quarterbacked by Philip Rivers. Put in Whitehurst. Indy by 10. Total points? 52.
CiCi’s Pizza buffet for two plus drinks to the winner of the contest.
