If I were a betting man…..

Last week sticking to the pro selections allowed me to salvage a 2-2 week making me 42-64-3 for the season. This is the week though, the week I make you lots of money, that is when you flip these picks like a pancake.

In college ball, and yes we are going to try our hand at that mess again.

Cincinnati +6 at home vs. WVA: Sure the Mountaineers have one of the most explosive running attacks in college football. But the Bearcats can ball and this is a classic road letdown spot for WVA after last weeks big win over Louisville.

Tennessee -12 vs. Vandy: Phillip Fulmer is on the way out but look for his troops to put one more beat down on their ancient rivals.

Miss St. +11 v. Arkansas: There is still much speculation regarding the future of Houston Nutt and considering just how well Sylvester Croom’s kids have been playing lately I would not put it past the Bulldogs to win this one outright.

State +6 vs. Wake: State has won 4 in a row and can taste a minor bowl berth, Wake also could use another win or two but they are not as needy and I think that will make the difference.

In the pros:

Dallas -10 ½ against the Skins, Romo and Co. should shred a Skins secondary that up until last week looked pretty solid.

Green Bay -10 against those humorous Hometown Heroes. If there is a worse 4-5 team in the history of pro football show me them please!

Detroit +2 ½ vs. The Giants: Detroit has been great at home this season and I think Eli and Co. will still have a little bit of a hangover from their emotionally draining effort against Dallas.

And on MNF I like the Under -38 in the Titans-Broncos match-up as these are two teams that have had trouble scoring this season.

  1. You barely missed another college O-fer on Saturday. 1-3 was a pretty rocky start. Good luck on your pro games. It looks like your Panthers pick might come through. One other thing….please don’t pick the Wolfpack next week.
