The Greensboro Sports Commission is proud to announce three headline events for this weekend.
First, the NCHSAA 1-A and 2-A State Baseball Championships will be held at UNCG Baseball Stadium beginning today at 5:00 pm.
1-A plays at 5:00 pm today, 11:00 am tomorrow and 5:00 pm tomorrow if necessary- Topsail vs. Cherryville.
2-A plays at 8:00 pm today, 2:00 pm tomorrow and wither 5 pm or 8:00 pm if necessary- East Rutherford vs. Orange High School
Second, the 2008 State Games of North Carolina kicks off tomorrow at the ICE HOUSE with Figure Skating. For more information, check out www.ncsports.org
Third, the USSSA State Basketball Championships will be at the Greensboro Coliseum Special Events Center and the Greensboro Sportsplex.
