LEXINGTON, Va. (10-25-08) – Guilford College finished sixth among eight teams with 226 points at the season-opening Old Dominion Athletic Conference Relays Saturday at Washington and Lee University. The Quakers’ best result was a fourth-place finish in the 150-yard breaststroke relay. Guilford teams finished fifth in the 200 and 400 freestyle events.
The host Generals won the meet with 662 points, followed by Randolph-Macon College (506).
Guilford opens dual-meet competition Nov. 8 at league-rival Bridgewater College.
