LEXINGTON, Va. – Anne Van Devender scored two goals and two assists in host Washington and Lee University’s 5-0 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) soccer match Saturday. Van Devender scored all of her points in the first half, including two goals and an assist in the first five minutes.
The Generals (11-4, 8-2 ODAC) outshot Guilford, 28-9, and led 4-0 at halftime. Kiki Moreo and Emily Leary combined for three saves and the shutout in goal.
Guilford freshman Kat Adams made a career-high 13 saves in her first college start.
The Quakers (7-11, 5-5 ODAC) conclude the regular season Wednesday (10/29) night at league-rival Emory & Henry College at 6:00 p.m.
