I’m watching a report on FOX 8 about the Greensboro Sports Commission’s efforts to bring the 2011 Ice Skating Nationals to Greensboro. (Not online yet.)
It was nice seeing that the coliseum staff has not forgotten how to put ice down.
Greensboro is in competition with Kansas City. The picture of the Kansas City facility looked very modern; but it’s the ICE, the hotels and the extras that will make up the difference. They may have to call some guys out of retirement to make the ice perfect (THEY CAN DO IT – they know the difference between Hockey Ice and Dance Ice.)
