PITTSBURGH — The Florida Marlins’ high the last week and the most recent three comeback victories over the weekend ended with a resounding thud on a cold and damp night at PNC Park on Monday night.

Andrew Miller was unable to find the strike zone, the previously successful bullpen didn’t fare any better in keeping the Pirates off the bases and the offense didn’t have a rally in it as the Marlins saw their seven-game winning streak come to a halt, 8-0, in front of a smattering of Pittsburgh faithful.
