Southern Alamance 8
Southwest Guilford 6

Jason Groce, Rob Stas, and Jeremy Vaugh led Southern Alamance to a non conference 8-6 win over Southwest. Bo Rein and Davis Inman pitched for the Cowboys who could only scatter 6 hits. Bo Rein had two hits, Brock Hudgens had a 2 rbi double, Cal Sutphin was 1-3 with an RBI. Davis Inman and Will Kellam also added hits.

Southwest has a big conference game against Reagan on Friday nite at Reagan, loser will be eliminated in the race for Conference champion. Brock Hudgens will pitch for Southwest.

  1. Look out for McMichael in the 2A playoffs this year. 2009 conference champions in the North State 2A, and they are the REAL DEAL.

  2. I heard the name of a McMichael player the other day. His name was Hughes, maybe Joseph Hughes and I heard he was talented and that the Phoenix are for real.

  3. McMichael has a very good team. Joseph Hughes, Corey Shelton, Craig Erskine, Ethan Satterfield, Steven Trant and the rest of their team are all talented players. I hear that Hughes has already committed to ECU and Satterfield is headed to Catawba. The team should make a good run in the playoffs.
