  1. It sounds like this Thorpe kid may be worth watching. I have lived in Greensboro for nearly 18 years and I have never went to a Guilford College or Greensboro College football or basketball game. I think I will try to go see a Greensboro College game in October. GC should thank you Andy when I start attending some of their games. It is do to your postings on their program that has drawn my attention for local sports.

  2. I saw Antwan Thorpe for the first time in early December of 2007 versus the Dudley Panthers in round four of the NCHSAA playoffs.

Thorpe was the QB for Oxford Webb and he had a great against Dudley, although the Panthers beat Thorpe and the Warriors.

Thorpe is a real talent and I was shocked when Greensboro College was able to get him. It must have been something about his size with the bigger schools, but he has settled in at WR and is playing great.

I have been a big fan of his now for a couple of years and I am proud of him and GC.

  3. Yeah I am shocked that Thorpe is at GC I thought he would have a lot of offers from a lot 1AA schools and and few 1A. But I am glad that he is playing well.
