Spring sports practices start today and Northern Guilford softball might just have something here

Northern Guilford’s softball team may be one of the best in the state. Last seasons, first team All-Area shortstop, Natalie Clemmons will lead the Nighthawk softball team this
year.

As a junior, she is already being recruited by some of the best softball programs in the country. According to N.C.Preps.com, she ranked 4th in batting average in the state for 2009.

Also, there is 3A All Conference senior pitcher Heather Baker and first team All Area catcher Ashley Trogdon will play a major role for the team. High school softball starts today at 4pm .

Who do you think will be the best teams and players in our 4A, 3A, 2A, 1A high school. fast pitch softball conferences…..

Do you agree with Northern as a Pre-season #1 or do you feel that NWG may just be the best team in our area or what about SEG or Southern Alamance or Southwest Randolph or others again??????

  1. Natalie is a great player! She is a wonderful young lady! Good Luck! I will be cheering for you all season long.

  2. Natalie Clemmons is one of the best softball players I’ve ever seen. Heather Baker, their pitcher, is incredibly good and underrated . I heard the Nighthawk softball team was #1 pre-season. We will be pulling for them. Good Luck Nighthawks!!!!
