  1. This has to be for laughs….please Andy, tell me you filter some of the stuff you put on this site…you dont just put everything on that you recieve. NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP???? LOL with just 8 teams…not even the best teams from our state…LOL…Believe me, i am not luaghing at the players…They seem like good kids! I hope they win that AAU type tournament. JUST DONT CALL IT A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP! LOL…. ANDY PLEASE DONT PUT THINGS LIKE THIS ON HERE

  2. The headline says USA Prep National Championship….

The kids will have funwith it, it all be over and then they’ll move on to the next round, like everything else….

The AAU tournaments specify that they are National Championships, if that’s what they call it, who cares???

    Good luck to all….

I could round up a team and play some of the kids from Guilford County if some of my kids were from across the state we could say we are State Champions….

What the heck….Play on and more games you play the better you’ll get…

*****Again, here is the headline on the E-mail that I received in regards to the tournament:
    Myrtle Beach National Championship******

What the heck, I wouldn’t mind getting a ring and if they gave them out for excellence in sports coverage, I would expect to get my ring…..National Publications can’t do it like we do here daddy, National Champions for 2009 Greensborosports.com…

After all the roads we went up and down and the subject matter we waded through, I want my ring soon for 2009….

We have softened up some in 2010, but that was due to the advice from my therapist…..

Dale, I will talk to the guy in charge at Cookout and see if can’t get you an order of onion rings…That’s all I have been able to acquire so far in 2010 and I had to pay for that….

    COL!

  3. I think that if they win this they get an invitation to a bigger national tourney. And Dale GDS is not even close to one of the best teams in the state.

  4. Its amazing Dale Fulton that you talk all that smack. GDS how many kids are going D1? What happen to the kids from last year? GDS has been recruiting kids for years. I have had one of my kids go thru GDS and I was approached at a gators AAU tournment. Don’t throw rocks inside a glass building. ORMA has the same right as GDS. So lets wait and see. But I could air GDS dirty landry on here, but it does no good for the kids. He that is without sins cast the first stone. GDS don’t pick up any rocks. I’m a insider

  5. I think it’s fantastic! I wish them great success…. ORMA is going to enjoy many, many successful seasons to come. Good Luck to them!!!

  6. to Dale Fulton:

    “O, beware, my lord, of jealousy;
It is the green-eyed monster which doth mock” Othello, 1604

you are a perfect example of the “green-eyed monster” Shakespeare spoke of!!!

  7. Is there a website for this tournament that gives more details? I have tried to do a search but nothing comes up except the Beachball Classic at Myrtle Beach and that is something different.

  8. Shakespeare???? Wow, I wish I had a quote for you, but I am dumbfounded by that response. I would say I have nothing more to say, but you probably know that’s not true.
    Dale

  9. from http://www.thesunnews.com:

The inaugural USA National Prep Private School National Championships will take place on the Grand Strand this weekend as well.

Games will be played at The Crabtree Memorial Gymnasium and Canal Street Gymnasium with games starting at 10 a.m. Thursday. All teams in the field are private schools, and they feature some highly touted Division I prospects, according to event organizer Don Fozard, coach and athletic director at Mount Zion Christian (N.C.). Fozard said 6-10 Walter Pitchford, who has signed with DePaul, 6-9 Brian Akinkugbe (considering Clemson and Wake Forest) of Brisbane Academy, 6-8 Chris Hill (Memphis, Arizona, UConn) and Kevin Thomas (North Carolina, UConn and Marquette) of Christian Faith Academy are among the player’s whose teams will be playing in the event.

Fozard said over 50 Division I prospects will take the court in the three-day event.

Fozard, who also organizes the Bull City Classic in Durham, said he recently came to the Grand Strand for the first time and he loved it.

  10. Weather ORMA win or not Caoch K will buy everyone a ring just like last year.
This tournament is normally not a big deal, but since ORMA is in it will be the
    greatest tournament ever.

    Right Andy
