Eastern Guilford’s Josh Morehead making the move to N.C. Central

Josh Morehead(Eastern Guilford HS) will be attending North Carolina Central in the fall.

Josh plans on lining up for the N.C. Central football team this fall and he looks forward to his days ahead as an NC Central Eagle…..There is a chance that Josh will go ahead and line up with Central this summer to get ahead a little bit in the books and he still has that committment to play this summer in the East-West All-Star Football Game in Greensboro….

DB or WR for Josh in college????? My first inclination would be DB with emphasis on returns for kickoffs and punts, but what do I know???? By the time the Eagle-Aggie Classic rolls around again, Josh might be the quarterback at N.C. Central….

Best of luck to Josh Morehead, from Coach Scott Loosemore’s Wildcat squad at Eastern Guilford, in the classroom and on the field at N.C. Central in Durham…..

Isn’t this the same school that produced sports agent Drew Rosenhaus, who signed N.C. Central’s Robert Massey a DB, as his first-ever client…..Fred Whitfield, from Southeast Guilford fame and Michael Jordan’s best buddy, got his law degree from N.C. Central…..BTW:(Rosenhaus attended and graduated in 1987 from the University of Miami and, in 1990, obtained a law degree from Duke University School of Law.) Duke is just on the other side of the woods from N.C. Central and that is how he got connected with Massey…….Rosenhaus at Duke and Massey at Central….
*****On Robert Massey from wikipedia:
Robert Lee Massey (born February 17, 1966 in Rock Hill, South Carolina) is a former American football cornerback who played for five teams in the NFL from 1989 to 1997. Massey was selected to the Pro Bowl in 1992. He played college football at North Carolina Central University.*****(Hopefully the same thing that happened to Massey will happen to Morehead…..)

Again, good luck to Josh and we look forward to seeing you on the field in the fall….

  1. Josh, remember who you are and work hard not only on the field but in the classroom. The sky will be your limit if you do this!
