One of the nation’s best high school football players lives in Wadesboro, population 5,700, about an hour’s drive east of Charlotte.
Anson Senior’s Stephone Anthony is so good college football coaches fly in from all over the country, including coaches from as far away as UCLA and Southern California, who arrive at Charlotte Douglas International Airport asking for directions to Wadesboro .
Hopefully the kid stays local and goes to one of our in-state schools
