Our first football score of the week: High Point Central tops Smith JV’s at Simeon

JV Football on a Wednesday night in High Point, at AJ Simeon Stadium…….

*****Central had the ball on the Smith 9-yard line after a high snap on a punt attempt by the Eagles….Central was ready to cash in but….Central threw an interception at the Smith one-yard line and the Golden Eagles took over at their own one and on a running play, HP Central tackled Smith in the Eagles’ end zone for a safety(the score was 14-8 Smith before the safety), and then Smith had to kick off and they did and it was a very short kick, that High Point Central took over on the Smith 30-yard, after that Golden Eagle kick-off only traveled 10 yards…..Central ran the ball and the clock and the Bison scored the winning points after trailing 14-10 and the HPC Bison went on top 17-14, with 48 seconds left, and Central goes on to win the game 17-14 in a comeback, with the Bison in front to stay and HPC goes to (3-0)……******
