Guilford College Sports update: Ben King(Trinity HS) the man to watch on the football team

When you go to a Guilford game, be sure to check out #29 Ben King(Trinity HS), the kid can play and he is the Quakers’ go-to guy…..Very strong in first two games and the primary target, of Quaker QB Luke Vandall…..

Guilford’s football team dropped to 0-2 with a 26-21 home setback to
Methodist Saturday. Luke Vandall passed for 304 yards and two touchdowns in
the loss. Ben King contributed 188 yards and a score on 11 receptions.

The Quakers’ men’s soccer team posted a 5-1 win over Piedmont Saturday in
Axton, Va. Jordan Alexander had a goal and two assists off the bench for the
winners.

Guilford’s women’s soccer team evened its record at 3-3 with a 3-0 road win
over North Carolina Wesleyan. Sarah Levitt netted two goals and added an
assist for the Quakers.

The Quakers’ volleyball team dropped two matches at the Greensboro College
Tournament Saturday. Guilford fell to Piedmont, 3-1, and Randolph-Macon,
3-0. Traci Teague represented the Quakers on the all-tournament team.
