Haines City, Fla. — Brock Elder (Greensboro, NC/Vandalia Christian) and Greensboro College continue shine at the Golfweek Fall Invitational. Elder shot his second straight 68 and leads by three strokes after two days. The Pride’s even par round puts GC up by five strokes heading to Tuesday final round.
GC is minus-6 (282-288–570) and leads second place Skidmore, which is one under par. The Thoroughbreds recorded a 285 for the lowest team score on Monday. Huntingdon and Texas Tyler are plus-4 and tied for third.
Individually, Elder (68-68–136) is three strokes up on Justin Tereshko (minus-5). Pride teammate Ben Nihart (Winston-Salem, NC/(home school)) (69-71–140) is minus four and in the third place. Josh Nichols (Waxhaw, NC/West Fosyth) carded a 71 to help the GC cause on Monday
